2017 Infiniti QX30 Power Train Failures

Many individuals who own or lease a 2017 Infiniti QX30 have recently shared complaints about significant power train failures affecting their vehicles. Reports of vehicles that roll or even drive backwards even when the car is in drive have been made, as have other complaints about vehicles that fail to accelerate after stopping at a stoplight or stop sign. So far, no clear answers have been given to consumers as to why these issues are occuring.

According to one owner, the vehicle was stopped at a stop sign when it began to roll backwards and an unfamiliar red indicator light turned on. The driver stepped hard on the brake pedal multiple times to get the car to finally stop rolling backwards, narrowly preventing a crash. Another consumer reported that while the 2017 Infiniti QX30 is stationary on a city road or on a highway, the vehicle may start to roll or even seem to drive backwards in reverse, even though the car is definitely in drive mode. Another driver voiced concern over their vehicle’s failure to regain acceleration after slowing for a stop sign or stop light. As these drivers await an explanation for these issues, their reports serve as warnings for those who currently own or lease a 2017 Infiniti QX30.
