2018 Ford F-250 Crew Cab Steering Problems

Those who drive a 2018 Ford F-250 Crew Cab may find themselves experiencing major steering problems. Numerous complaints have emerged in recent months, where consumers describe steering wheels and suspension systems that violently shake, also called a “death wobble.” In some cases, drivers nearly crashed when their trucks began to shake. So far, Ford has not issued a recall that addresses steering wheel issues, so consumers are left without a clear solution to this problem.

One driver from Ohio shared that his truck experiences the “death wobble” whenever it encounters a bump in the road. Even if the bump is minor, the truck shakes violently and the driver is forced to pull over and stop completely before the issue is resolved. Another consumer explained that the truck began to bounce and shake violently while driving along a highway that crossed railroad tracks. The driver had to stop the car completely before regaining control. Other drivers have reported instances of their 2018 Ford F-250 Crew Cab trucks shaking so violently that they nearly crash into nearby vehicles. For now, consumers are still in search of a clear solution to this “death wobble” issue.
