2019 Mazda MAZDA3 Braking Issues

For people who drive a 2019 Mazda MAZDA3, it’s important to know that a range of persistent braking problems have been reported by consumers. In fact, the manufacturer has issued a total of six recalls so far that affect this model, one of which details faulty emergency braking systems that tend to activate unexpectedly. While many consumers have received the necessary repairs, there are still a number of ongoing braking issues that Mazda customers continue to face.

One driver reported that he had already taken his 2019 Mazda MAZDA3 into the dealership for the recall repair, but his car continued to experience braking issues. After changing lanes on the freeway, the vehicle suddenly went into an emergency stop and then stalled, nearly causing the vehicle behind him to rear end him. Another owner stated that he began to slow down to turn, but the smart brake support immediately engaged and stopped the vehicle for no apparent reason. He took the car to the dealership, but no diagnosis or solution was given. Multiple reports of similar braking issues continue to crop up, even after the vehicles have received the recommended recall repairs.
