2020 Hyundai Palisade SUV Windshield Defects

Recently, numerous complaints have emerged from consumers who own or lease a 2020 Hyundai Palisade SUV. While there are several concerns about this vehicle, the bulk of the complaints center on defective windshields that crack easily. While the manufacturer has issued one recall that impacts this particular make and model so far, the recall focuses on air bag issues and not on concerns about flimsy windshields. Customers are expressing their dismay over struggling with cracked windshields that often require total replacement.

A significant number of complaints have been made about poor quality windshields in the 2020 Hyundai Palisade SUV. One customer noted that the windshield developed a small crack after only 1500 miles, and the crack rapidly spread across the entirety of the windshield. Another owner said that his wife noticed a small windshield crack next to the rearview mirror, even though the car had been stationary for several days. A third customer reported that he had to replace the windshield two times within six months, expressing frustration over the thin and flimsy material, as well as the potential hazards that may arise as a result.
